NACS Foundation Installs New Board Members

OBERLIN, OHIO – March 15, 2017 - The NACS Foundation announced the installation of its new president, president-elect, and four new directors to the 2017-2018 board during CAMEX 2017 , the National Association of College Stores’ (NACS) annual convention and trade show.

Deanna Casterton , director, Luther Book Shop, Luther College, Decorah, Iowa is the newly-elected president for 2017-18. Casterton succeeds Tom Hoffa , vp of channel partnerships, Pearson, Chanhassen, Minn, who is now the Foundation’s Immediate Past President.

Carol J. Miller Schaefer, CCR , director, NDSU Bookstore, North Dakota State University, Fargo, N.D., was installed as president-elect.

Newly installed directors are Delinda Bahm , regional sales executive, Jardine Associates, Meriden, Kan.; Allison Hartel , assistant director for marketing and outreach, CU Bookstore, University of Colorado Boulder; Donna Morris-Powell , director of retail operations, North Carolina A&T State University, Greensboro, N.C.; and R. Todd Smith, CCR , director of campus store services, The Loch Shop, Clayton State University, Morrow, Ga.

Directors remaining on the NACS Foundation board are; Julie Banks, CCR , university retail operations manager, University of Dayton Bookstore, Dayton, Ohio; Tracy Dyal, CCR , manager, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Bookstore, Tifton, Ga.; Chris Przybylski, CCR , operations manager, Ozarks Tech Community College Bookstore, Ozarks Technical, Community College, Springfield, Mo and Paul A. Wright, MBA, CCR , store manager, Northern Michigan University Bookstore, Marquette, Mich.
