Travel/Time Commitments

NACS Board of Trustees are responsible for participating in up to two in-person NACS Board Meetings per year and participation on monthly conference calls (approximately five per year). In addition, assignment on one or more board committees (Audit, Education, Executive, Finance & Budget, Membership & Bylaws, or Nominating) to include participation in their meetings and conference calls.

Total Time Commitment

When taking into consideration time spent traveling to/from meetings, attendance at the meeting, prep time reviewing board/committee materials, and conference call participation, a member of the Executive Committee should expect to spend 50-100 hours per year. 

All travel expenses for in-person board meetings are paid for by NACS.
