Submitting Items to The College Store
Member News
NACS members should submit their retirement, milestone anniversary, award, recognition, or other business-related announcements (with photographs if possible) to: Michael von Glahn, assistant editor at The College Store. For more details, call him at NACS, ext. 2304, or e-mail mvonglahn@nacs.org. Items for this section are chosen at the discretion of the editor.
Letters to the Editor
Letters to the editor are welcome, and are published at the discretion of the editor. The editor reserves the right to edit all submissions for style, grammar, length, and clarity. Send letters to Keith Galestock, editor of The College Store, at kgalestock@nacs.org, or by regular mail in care of NACS headquarters.
For What It's Worth
This is an occasional column for members to share their individual opinions and viewpoints on one subject in greater detail than a letter to the editor would allow. Overall length is from 600 to 900 words, and is in style and feeling similar to Newsweek's My Turn, sent in by readers. Contact the editor directly with queries for this section.
New Products—FYI Section
The F.Y.I. (For Your Information) section of The College Store magazine accepts information from vendors about new and interesting products to the college store industry. There is no need to send actual products; a description and non-returnable image are sufficient.
NACS and The College Store magazine do not directly engage in the endorsement, promotion, or sale of products to the college store industry or to students.
Digital images supplied should adhere to the following standards: 5" x 7" at 300 dpi tif, eps, or jpg images, or 15" x 21" 72 dpi tif, eps, or jpg images. Please compress with WinZip or Stuffit. Do not embed photos within the body of a text document.
Send them to Michael von Glahn, assistant editor at The College Store. For more details, call him at NACS, ext. 2304, or e-mail mvonglahn@nacs.org. Items for this section are chosen solely at the discretion of the editor.

NACS Inc., which owns The College Store magazine, accepts paid advertising at both NACS member and non-member rates.
