Campus Marketplace Newsletter View Archive 
The Campus Marketplace weekly e-mail newsletter is the primary way NACS members obtain timely news about the collegiate retailing industry. Delivered on Fridays, Campus Marketplace articles offer industry news concerning retail and publishing issues and practical suggestions about such things as customer service, marketing, emerging technologies, legislation, and best management practices.
Plus, Campus Marketplace allows readers to instantly access the NACS web site for further details on articles, resources, industry employment, and member news. Links to other online publications also provide a wider perspective on issues facing the college store industry.
Members rate Campus Marketplace a top benefit provided by NACS. In addition, Campus Marketplace has received a Gold Circle Certificate of Achievement for excellence in electronic newsletters from the American Society of Association Executives.
An unlimited number of your staff can receive the newsletter at each membership location, so members are encouraged to sign up staff. NACS full store, associate, subscriber, affiliate, professional, and individual membership levels are eligible to receive the newsletter as a benefit of membership. Member News
Submit information about promotions and other job changes, retirements, awards, and death notices to Michael von Glahn, assistant editor for NACS publications, at mvonglahn@nacs.org.
Book News
Associate publisher members can submit information about service, program, and policy changes at their companies that affect the college store industry. Not acceptable are book reviews or press releases about promotions, sales incentives, authors, new books, or products for sale. Send Book News submissions to cm@nacs.org, or call (800) 622-7498, ext. 2258.
Advertising
With Campus Marketplace, advertisers have an affordable way to reach college store managers, merchandise buyers, and other staff. More than 10,000 people receive Campus Marketplace. Placements for HTML advertisements are available by contacting the NACS Advertising Department at advertising@nacs.org.
Job Listings
NACS bookstore members and NACS associate members can post job listings that are 100 words or less at no cost. Job listings will be posted on the NACS web site for two weeks and can be accessed using the Industry Jobs link in the Campus Marketplace newsletter. The deadline to submit job listings is the Wednesday prior to the Monday you wish the listing to first appear. Post job listings by e-mail to onlinejobpostings@nacs.org.
