You will combine your management work experience with systems and policy training provided by an experienced NBC Store Manager and their staff enabling you to accept an assignment of Store Manager of your own store in as little as 3-6 months. You will receive on-the-job training, as well as attend classroom training on our store systems. To help enhance your training, you must be able to travel over a several day period to assist with new store transitions and startups. This position has financial management responsibility in support of Retail Operations and the Student Centers entities. Areas of focus will include financial statement preparation, business unit financial analysis, cost accounting and various ad hoc reporting that assist unit leadership in making fact based business decisions. Position will work closely with CAS Finance management in developing a value added management reporting strategy.

Characteristics of the selected candidates will include strong organization skills, computer literacy, independent thinker, demonstrated attention to detail and can work autonomously.
We require a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business discipline and 1 - 3 years progressive experience in a business environment. Previous experience in retail accounting and finance, along with data and planning systems in a retail environment is preferred. Exposure to financial systems (e.g. Banner, accrual based software, Business Objects) would be an added benefit.
Starting salary range $40,000 - $50,000.

Education:

Experience:

-Successful retailing experience including profitability, budgeting, merchandising, promotion and staffing.
